Channel Letters

Channel letters are commonly illuminated with hand blown gas filled glass tubes of various colours. These are commonly called Neon Letters. Neon letters can be either illuminated with neon tubes, or more commonly now by LED’s (light emitting diodes). Neon is more commonly used in Halo-Lit letters, while LED’s are used typically in Back-Lit letters. The neon or LED’s are recessed within an aluminum channel in the shape of a letter and are then covered by an acrylic face. Channel letters can be either mounted directly to a building face, or via a carrying box.
